I would highly encourage not using Bob's facebook page as a way to contact him for convention - please use the information on the Contact Us page of the 21st Annual National Sweepstakes Convention website

Sure would love to visit that part of the country as I have 2 sweeper pals in this area. Hope you are successful in convincing them to bid for 2012 or 2013?

This post might be lost here and perhaps another message should go ?????

Cool Thanks
I just wanted to thank "The Sweepaholic" for his post about what to expect at the convention. Now I just need to talk my wife into going.

If you wife likes to shop just mention the Mall of America and I'm sure you'd have no problem getting her to go.

We need to have one in beautiful Colorado! I can see Pikes Peak right out of my bedroom window and my office window. I hope we get one here sometime.

Finally after 25 years of sweeping, I'm going to go to my first convention in Minneapolis! I am so psyched! I am a little nervous as I don't know many people on here, but I sure am looking forward to meeting everyone!

No need to be nervous. You will find instant friendship at the convention. It's funny but when sweepers get together, suddenly those walls of "don't talk to strangers" breaks down.

And maybe KB and Brent will do as they did for this year's convention in New Hampshire, make name badges with your OLS screen name.

Enjoy your convention time and look me up before and/or at convention. This will be my 7th in a row. Mall of America here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanna go too, but thinking I might wait for the one in Indiana. I was checking flights and they are like $500 a person. I've always wanted to see the Mall of America but I can't justify spending over $1000 on my own little getaway. Maybe I'll run into some money before then.

Airfares can't be booked this far out. If we could book now, airfares from Atlanta are around $236.00 to $260.00 round trip. Hope current airfare prices don't keep anyone from registering.

I am actually contemplating driving up from Houston. It's a two day drive but having my car to haul back anything I might buy is a plus. I also have a $100 BP gas card I won that I can't use in Texas. This irks me to no end. We refine the BP gas in Texas but have no BP gas stations.
