Making freezer meals for my cousin who has a new baby with some problems. Decided to double everything so I would have a set for here.

Making homemade mac n cheese (with velveeta, yum)

My Italian friends recipe for honest to goodness red sauce with pork steak, meatballs and Italian sausage. (sending her noodles to make with it but not freezing those).

Bacon cheddar meatloaf (DH and DS love it.)

Then just for the heck of it I made some chicken liver pate spread that I saw on Rachel Ray the other day. It just sounded yummy.
And those butterscotch/Chinese noodle haystack cookie things.

Won't have to cook for three days....

Love to hear about your 'date nights'!

Today was my corporate 2010 party (yeah.. delayed) and 10 people gave me their game cards. Took the kids and a friend back to the arcade for fun and games.
Dinner:
Nachos
Wings
Beer and wine - repeat.

Ok food was blah... but the kids had a great time for almost free!!

I finally used my new pressure cooker. I made a roast cooked in a sauce, and it turned out delish! And, no, the pc did not explode, just as Wolfgang Puck promised!

I made gravy out of the juices, and we had mashed potatoes, corn and bread along with it.

It was not only super tasty, it looked beautiful on the plates.

I want to get one, I have always been afraid. I want to can stews etc and you are supposed to to that in a pressure cooker.

I just got one for Christmas and have only used it for a ham. I have to try a roast, when of course I can chew again!

I'm surprised at the things they say you can make in them.

Did you get a electric one or the tradional? I just got the tradional 10 quart one.
