I watched Meet Market (cheesy) and Feast of Love which I really enjoyed. I just rented No Reservations, Gone Baby Gone, and Fierce People to watch this weekend.

Watched Michael Clayton last night. It was a good movie but it jumped around a lot so you had to pay attention.

I watched The Prestige yesterday. I really liked it and ended up watching it again. The second time I noticed a lot more; there are a lot of cut-away shots that add clues, but I had to watch closely.

What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty or democracy?

I highly recommed it as well.

Don Cheadle is one of my favorites. If you haven't already seen it, get Hotel Rwanda. He is even better in that than he was in Reign Over Me.

I went with some friends to see "Fools Gold". It was really cute, and we had a great time watching Mathew McConanaghy's great body!

DH and I just watched a movie we rented from Netflix.

Away From Her

Starring Julie Christie, Gordon Pinsent and Olympia Dukakis. Terrific acting.

Movie is about alzeheimers disease, it's progression and victim and family struggles.

Wonderful movie - very touching and informative. I recommend it.

Pinsent won best actor at Toronto Academy Awards and Julie Christie is nominated for best actress at our Academy Awards tonight. I hope she wins. She was totally amazing in the film.
