Videos shared to Facebook grainy...suggestions?
What apps do you use to create videos on your phone? I tried the default one and Videoshow. The problem is the video looks great on my phone but once I share it to Facebook it is like FB compresses it or the quality goes way down. There are more shadows, colors are not sharp etc.

I looked up the size you could put on FB and it was within the range. So I tried compressing it first then sharing and it looked bad still.

Any thoughts on an app that could keep the size down but good quality? Android phone (samsung). Or is it a FB thing?

In my camera settings, the video size is HD 1280x720.

Thanks!

I think I can try to help you. So.. as far as I understand you need a high resolution. Do you need any other particular things or functions?

I uploaded again and there was a way to upload in HD on FB so that helped...problem is I can't remember how I did that.

I guess I will just have to figure it out again. I still wish I could get clearer video on FB. It is perfect on the phone itself. It must be something to do with how FB compresses it or some limitation. That is my guess.
