9 months ago I was running about 20 mps download and called Time Warner (now Charter/Spectrum) and asked about higher speeds. They told me they had enhanced their whole San Diego system to run as high as 300 mps.

They then ran a test from their office and found the modem they had given me some years earlier only had a top speed of 20 mps. So, they sent a guy out with a new modem, and now I'm running at 275 mps download...super fast. Really nice.

mine is .7 (NOTE THE DECIMAL IN FRONT OF IT). I'm 4.1 miles from the CenturyLink box and they tell me I'm not even supposed to be able to get it. But they give me that. At least I can function most of the time very slowly.

More speed in the rural areas supposed to be coming late next year.

Hello I am helping to my friend with her website. She needs to speed the loading time. We have been suggested to use the PHP or PHP7. Are there any professionals in PHP? Or any feedback? Thank you

A download speed of 66.7 is very good. Twice as fast as mine.

Thanks, that's good to know. Although, I still feel like my cable bill is too high.

If your speed is well under it may be your router and not what your provider is sending to you. To truly test the speed plug your modem directly into the computer if possible.
