Amazing Paul McCartney Concert
Paul McCartney's One on One Tour was in Wichita last night. We decided early on to get tickets despite the cost because this was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Paul did not disappoint. My husband and son are into the technical aspects of rock and roll so were amazed but I am more into the emotion. I was only 8 years old when I saw the Beatles the first time on Ed Sullivan. I have loved them ever since. I was excited to go to this concert but I had no idea how emotional I would be to see Paul in person. I started to cry (quietly). Told the guys to stop making fun of me. For a minute I was 8 years old again. Paul played non-stop for 3 hours, he has an amazing band. Possibly the greatest entertainment evening of my life (61 years). Thanks for listening; I had to deactivate my Facebook account due to political arguments but I had to write about this concert somewhere.

Yes, tickets were expensive but we figured this was a once in a lifetime experience. Fortunate that we are at a place in our lives where we can work it into our budget. Decades when we could not have done so. Thanks everyone.

My bff & I flew to Seattle to see him in 2013--it was fab! We had to sit separately, but we didn't care! I was close to the front, center section. The next summer, to our surprise, he came to Missoula, MT, so we went again! Again, great seats on the floor, not far from the front, and this time we sat together, with her son.

I would LOVE to go again! Aren't we so lucky!

PS--hope you get your fb back.
