Lost Our Younger Son/Thank You for Writing Him
We lost our younger son, Cody, in a car accident earlier this month at age 37. I would like those who took the time to write to him those years he was imprisoned to know how much it meant to him. People here are so awesome!

Cody was actually imprisoned much longer than the law would have allowed, and he won on that point, but of course, he could never get that time back.

When he came home, he went back to his profession as a mechanic, married, went to work for us at our shop, bought a home, and he was raising his younger son at the time of his death.

Cody was always willing to lend a hand to anyone at any time. He was a fine man, loving and loyal. We are at a loss without him, and our lives are still in disarray, though we are doing our best to move forward.

Again, thanks to all who helped support Cody with your letters back in the day. It meant so much to him, and also to me.

When we all can worship from our own kind of pew

So sorry to hear of your loss..

Kind of been there just a few months ago with SIL's brother passing in a car accident when hit by an uninsured non-licensed driver and that incident really hit hard.

SallyKay, I am so sorry to hear about your Cody. Losing a child is one of the most difficult things ever in life. Nobody should have to bury their child, kid or adult.

I know where you are at. I lost my adult son almost six years ago. Life goes on, it is just not the same anymore.

Again, I am so very sorry about your loss. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
