I didn't receive UPS Alerts ..
I've received 2 packages from UPS this week and am getting another one that the sponsor notified me about on Thursday. Thing is, I haven't received a UPS alert from any of them. Is there an option on my account that I need to make sure is checked?

In case you're curious about the 2 packages, one was the plush blanket from Stouffer's Dinner Club with a coupon for free Mac N Cheese (I love it!). The other was an order from Capelli with a $20 GC from a FB contest - the cutest little sweater for my puppy, Black Crocs and a pink throw. I'll tell you guys about the other package on Thursday

I don't know of any way to track shipments *if you don't have a tracking number.* If you do of course FedEx and UPS have their own tracking systems, and often just pasting a tracking number into google is the fastest shortcut direct to those "track a shipment" platforms.

This company's beta project http://www.faranow.com/ supposedly tracks shipments across 40 different shippers' platforms, but it also seems the only place to start with them is with a tracking number. My experience is that only 10-25% of "your prize has shipped" emails include a tracking number or reference.

I think the OP is saying she signed up for alerts but hasn't received any even though she has received packages. I too have received packages a few times without getting an alert but I usually get an alert first. I'm not sure why I don't get an alert on all packages either

Thats kinda what I meant, sorry I wasn't clear. I have been signed up for MyChoice since October and anxiously awaiting alerts. Is there an option on mychoice account that I have overlooked to make sure I receive notices?

I know I get alerts about 3 out of 5 times. I don't know why sometimes the alert arrives and sometimes it just doesn't.

Make sure your address is verified right at UPS is about all I can suggest.

Good Luck OLS members!

Same problem here! During Christmas time when I was expecting packages, I only recieved 1 notice before delivery. I too double checked that I didnt miss something when I signed up. I have a very generic easy address and no apt number. Sadly, I haven't recieved any packages since... but I'm expecting some wins to deliver soon. Seems I'm more anxious to see if I get an alert then the prize!

Haha thats what I was asking myself, "Why am I disappointed about those alerts after getting this great stuff?!"

I've gotten over a dozen alerts since I signed up, haven't gotten a single package without getting one and I live in an apartment.

Are you using different email addresses when you enter on facebook and regular sweeps? I use a different email address when I do non sweeping orders online and even though I have gotten deliveries I don't get the alerts because it's not tied into the same email address.

I can tell you from the situation I noticed when I ordered items and had something come with a win..

If you live on an "avenue" and you have AVE in UPS and the company/sponsor puts "AV" you will NOT get an alert.. same would go for "Street" and "ST"

MY WINS!!! last win (01/30/2017)

I live on Blvd and I've never seen anyone put anything besides blvd, maybe that's why I've gotten every alert.

This makes the most sense to me, maybe it is just something where the text of the address is not exact.
My post office is weird, instead of having the official address with the Apt # in the second address line, they list the entire address including apt on the first line. Some packages come to me with the apt listed on top of the physical address. I noticed it before but didn't think it made a lot of difference,as far as alerts go, I guess it matters.

Here is what i have noticed. I don't get alerts when I get free shipping on items...sometimes. If you get a message from like bath and body works that says your order has shipped- and you click on the tracking notice there will be a note on the UPS site saying this basic shipping is not eligible for UPS alerts. It is really confusing.

I just signed up for this (and almost immediately received an alert for something my husband ordered).

When I signed up I remember reading something to the effect of: the sender has to include your registered telephone number when they ship the package, or you will not receive an alert.

So I would guess the shipper did not have/include your phone number--if you didn't receive an alert.
