I just starting getting the not secure on this site about a month ago. I never had gotten that ever before and I have been a member for 14 years and just wondering why I started getting the not secure notification about a month ago.

If you guys do a search here on ols about the site not being secure you will find thread about it from years ago. This is not new.

I'm still here for a reason and it's my responsibility to get up everyday and fight the good fight. Spread the joy wherever I go and drive out darkness with light and hate with love.

The site does not save enough PPI to need to be secure.

AND.... you are going to just click a link here and enter all that info, plus more, on random entry forms that are going who knows where, so why would you get upset about OLS being secure?

Windows update decided to make it more obvious that an Http site was "not secure" as opposed to an https site which is supposedly secure. Used to be able to tell because there was a picture of a lock on secure sites in the url bar. It is simply a warning to not put personal info on the site. It is NOT a warning about anything detected on the site.

Not a new issue, however I would recommend updating your password, my acct was hacked a few days ago here, and they changed the password, nothing other than a password change needed to fix the issue. Easy Peasy. (I'm pretty sure it is because of my early morning reporting, but whatever ) It was also the same password from when I began-very old!
I was very upset, however that they didn't bother to enter any sweeps for me
I am wondering if it has something to do with a browser update. I changed from IE, to Chrome and it always read secure, about 6 months ago I noticed it now reads not secure because I do always look.
(half the forms I fill out lately also read not secure as well)
