I don't like any kind of heat, either dry or wet!

It is so freaking hot here, with no rain. I don't know which will burn up first, me or my plants.

We haven't had rain in a very long time. Hot in the mid-90s for days. I'm surprised they haven't banned sprinklers yet.

We've fortunately gotten some rain this week, mostly due to thunderstorms, but it's not as much as we need, it mainly just added to the humidity. I hope you get some rain soon.

Same here! We are probably sharing the same storm fronts, chancebunny!

Yay, yay! We finally got our first decent rain in weeks. It was a bit of a gully-washer, which is a problem in farm country, but we'll take it anyway. It sure helped cool us off, at least for a little while.

That's good that your region got some rain. We're just having sporadic thunderstorms that give us some rain, but not the sustained gentle rains that we need.

That's basically what we had, but it's just so nice to get ANY rain! It's been so dry here that even the weeds were dying. Mature trees were starting to wilt. It really was bad.

I know the feeling. I know that those quick downpours don't do much good, but when it's so dry the grass crackles and all the plants are wilted, you are glad for any kind of rain.

Wow - it kept raining, and we ended up with over 2 inches over a 24-hour period. That really helps. Wish it could be more spread out, but glad we got it.

I'm glad you got some rain. Yesterday, it thundered for an hour or more, but no rain.

I'm whining because I'm sooooooooo cold. Yes it was like 100 degrees yesterday and now I have my windows open, AC off, and I'm cold!! I need my blanky.

It's only 64 degrees.

Me, too!
The temps aren't so bad in the mornings. However, by the time you get up, it is already way too humid! Then by the afternoon, the air feels so hot and thick that you can barely breathe and you start to sweat just by taking out the trash or getting the mail. I will take 60 degree weather ANYDAY over this! I can't wait for fall or even winter!

It's the same here. The minute I step outside I start sweating. It seems like my bra is saturated with sweat after just a couple of minutes.
