Let's Talk Turkey
Must one eat it at Thanksgiving? I say YES so my ham loving Thanksgiving host is permitting me to bring one tomorrow.

It is about 11 pounds and I will stuff it with homemade bread stuffing (that's another whole thread there) and bring it cooked to her house. What would be the best way to transport it to her house, about fifteen minutes away. How long can it sit without being in the oven or frig?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Happy Thanksgiving AND Turkey Day!

Wishing & hoping & thinking & praying, planning & dreaming... and entering!

15 minutes should not be a problem at all- a cooler or any other type of insulation (eg. wrap it in aluminum foil) will help until it can be served.

America: Love it or give it back.

Thanks!
Almost wish I had a portable oven for it, but maybe next year I will have it here

I'd chuck him dry igloo cooler and bring him on a drive.
