I don't have a kite, and I was never very good at flying one.

I prefer to focus on things that I can celebrate, like potatoes, and laugh and get rich.

I do love potatoes in all forms. I know that I eat too many carbs, but that is a weakness. I made potato salad yesterday and had it for lunch and again for supper. But I know that potatoes are high in potassium and contain other good vitamins/minerals, so they do have some health benefits besides being delicious.

I've reduced my consumption of taters somewhat but it is difficult to totally eliminate such a versatile veggie from the diet. Maybe I should consider less starchy varieties?

Here's another tater joke (in case you didn't laugh at the first one):

Quote:
A boy entered restaurant that advertised fat-free French fries.

“Sounds great,” said the health-conscious boy. He ordered some.

He watched as the cook pulled a basket of fries from the fryer. The potatoes were dripping with oil when the cook put them into the container.

“Wait a minute,” the boy said. “Those don’t look fat-free.”

“Sure they are,” the cook said. “We charge only for the potatoes. The fat is free!”

That was funny!

At Publix Supermarket, I've seen bags of reduced carb potatoes. I don't know if they have them all the time or not. I only noticed them once and bought them. I usually buy potatoes elsewhere. They were as good as any full carb potato I've eaten.

Most of those pizzas don't sound or look very appealing to me. As much as I might like tater tots or mac and cheese, I wouldn't want them on pizza. The zucchini pizza does sound good and easy. I do like the combo of squash and cheese.

Pizza bagels would be appropriate today.

I got a tray of cream cheese brownies today but have no one to share them with. They are sweet. I didn't get a toothache yesterday and hope I don't get one today after eating the whole tray.

A nice beach would help get me in the mood for some umbrellas.
Here's some umbrella history.

I would love to have some cream cheese brownies. I bet they would be even better warmed up, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on them!

I am grateful for the friends that I've made here on OLS. I don't know if I'll make a new friend today or not, though.

I do appreciate all the inventors who have come up with such great ideas and products.

I don't have a solid white t-shirt, but I do have white t-shirts with designs that I can wear today.

Our current weather discourages outside activity but we can share some time with others who are restricted to indoor activities.
