I have never left the U.S., and probably never will.

Other celebrations today:

Bunsen Burner Day
National Clam on the Halfshell Day
World Backup Day

Nothing too exciting in that bunch.

Do you enter travel sweeps? I have won several over the years.

No, I don't enter travel sweeps. Congrats on your wins! Hope you've had some nice trips.

Yes, they were nice but I've since lost the desire to travel so do not enter anymore.

I do love taters!

I had potato chips at lunch and I'm making kale and potato soup for supper.

I actually enjoyed the day by spending most of it at a chocolate festival: chocolate cookies, cakes, cannoli, mocha punch, chocolate stout, whoopie pies, etc. I am pretty much overdosed at this point so it is time to sleep it off. A sandwich made with sourdough bread will supply at least a few other nutrients overnight.

I didn't know that there was such a thing as a chocolate festival. They've never had one around here. It sounds decadent. Sourdough bread is very tasty too!

PB&J goes well with sourdough.

I've never tried PB&J on sourdough. Sounds interesting. I've always just used plain white bread for that.

April 4

Hug a Newsman Day
Walk Around Things Day

I don't think that I'll have the opportunity to celebrate the first one, but I am going out for a walk and I will probably have to walk around some stick or other debris from yesterday's storm.
