There's got to be some kind of explanation about your disappearing photos. I just don't know what it could be. After I save a photo to my computer, I upload it to cube upload, then get the codes to paste it in here from there. I'm not sure what your method is, or what changed, since you always used to be able to post photos that stayed here.

Wow - so it's just something to do with this site? That's so weird.

I just checked the Birthdays and other Celebrations thread in Let's Play, where I've posted photos. They are gone now too. They showed up at first. I wonder if it's some kind of bandwidth issue? Only the smileys that I've posted remain. I wonder if all the photos I ever posted here are gone, or if it's just the newer ones from this year?

I didn't do anything. I'll have to check to see if my other photos have returned.

Yes, they have returned. I think we must be in the Twilight Zone.

There is a sticky thread at the top of Let's Play by Brent from 2007. Because so many posts were slowing down the site at that time, he closed a lot of threads to posting, then we started others. That was a fun thread to re-read after 13 years. That's why I mentioned bandwidth in my previous post. That might not be the correct term, but as I've said before, I'm not a techie. I thought maybe too many photos here were slowing down the site, and either someone was deleting them, or some automatic program was doing so. I guess we'll never know.

Are your pictures back? I was going to look at Ravzie's Reno thread, where she posted a lot of photos of all her house projects, to see if those were gone too. I also thought about messaging a mod or editor and asking if they knew why pictures are disappearing, but I hate to bother people with something that is probably not in their control.

I think if I tried to walk on stilts, that I would end up with a lot of broken bones.

I haven't, but I've eaten fried avocado tacos at a restaurant. When I used to go to restaurants, that is.

Restaurant fare is one of the things I miss most this year.

I miss that a lot too. We used to eat at a restaurant or get take out once a week, but since this started in March, we've only gotten takeout pizza twice and haven't eaten inside a restaurant at all.

I have a few dollars in my wallet, but I wish I had more.

I found some frozen treat bars for less than a dollar and am satisfied that they are close enough for today's observance.
