I love to decorate, even though lately I do not trust any of my decisions, lol. I guess when I was younger, I was more like, "If it doesn't turn out, I can always change it." But now, I want to re-do something and then not have to re-do it for a long, long time, lol. Well, at least not until it starts to get stale as an avacado refrigerator

I just re-did my teen son's room, here are the pics from my favorite decorating site, HGTV Rate My Space:

http://ratemyspace.hgtv.com/SNC/View...8-db0032ed88cf

Which I totally stole from another RMSer, although, I did have to improvise here and there, so I guess I still have some creativity left in me, lol.

Please share any of your favorite sites and pics, too.

I still have so much to do in this house...never ending!

His room looks great, good job!

Just yesterday I started to search for decorating blogs. I found a couple, but I think I will keep looking. So if you know any let me know. I like that site you posted, I need some decorating help.

I dont know how to decorate my hallway. One side of it has silver framed family pics, the other I was going to put black framed family pics. But I am thinking that will look stupid, I also like wood color frames, I need to know how to use them all together with out it looking terrible. Any ideas?

Love your ds's room.

Thanks for starting this group FaygoPop. I'm in

Just got bit by the decorating bug. It took me a long time to give myself permission to even think of decorating in any manner.

Right now one of my favorite sites is Nesting Place http://nestingplacenc.blogspot.com/
I am addicted to window mistreatments.
Great, cheap, easy way to give a room a liitle zippy.

If life hands you melons.... you might be dyslexic.

Looks great! I love the 2 shutters she has painted, tilted sideways, and then a plaque over it....as a huge wall hanging over her sofa! What a great idea, now I need old shutters! lol

Question
Where's a good place to buy fabric? After looking at her website, I have the uumph to make my own slipcovers for my kitchen chairs...will be much cheaper than a whole new kitchen set, that's for sure. I need at minimum 24 x 30 inch squares, 4 of them. Cool, another obsession for me to work on....lol

LOL! Cool, another Nester addict. Muahahaha!

<peers into magic 8 ball.>I see in your future other than fabric. Lots of curtain rings clips in various colors. And a room painted in Tobacco Road.

JoAnn's Fabric seems to have great prices and a huge selection of fabric.
Michaels I think had fabric too.
Hobby Lobby.

Any quilting store or sewing center should have some good stuf, and prices to boot.
