My subscription is up next week. I never thought I'd say this, but I think I'm going to try out a different site. One where the owner is more involved. Not too thrilled with the lack of response to people who are having problems. It would only take a few minutes for either Brent or Nicole to get on here and post that they're looking into this. Even a notice on the homepage would be great, so people don't keep shelling out money before this is resolved.

The owner of this site has been, shall we say, uninterested in the site for a very long time, and his interest seems to be waning still...if I were a member (which I am), I'd start downloading your "MySweeps" data. You just have to open your current MySweeps tab, put them in the order you want, and save each page using your browser. You can put them in a folder on your hard drive for safe-keeping. Just in case.

This site has seen a huge increase in free competitors in the last few years (most not as good, sadly), but I don't doubt that has caused a very large exodus of paid members. That makes me wonder if the owner is contemplating pulling the plug. If so, I'll hope he'll sell the site instead, but we'd then be at the mercy of the new owner, who may be even worse.

Better safe than sorry. Start saving your sweeps.

I don't think this is the type of problem that would be granted a class action suit. But neither do I think it is legal for them to take money for a service they will not provide. This is covered by federal, state and local law. They should, out of common decency, close the subscription page until this is resolved.

I know for a fact that Paypal will refund your money if you didn't get what you paid for. I honestly think that if you call and explain to them what is going on they might be able to straighten it out. For all anyone knows it's a software glitch.

You don't even need to call really. There is a button to escalate the transaction if you can find the details in your transaction history. It might make you send a note to the site owner first, but just do that and immediately do an escalation to Paypal since it's multiple people experiencing the same issue.
