Isn't there supposed to be sunshine in Margaritaville?

I obviously not in Margaritaville. There isn't a drop of sunshine here. Maybe if I drank a pitcher of margaritas, I wouldn't care about the neverending rain.

I blew out my flip flop
Stepped on a pop top
Now my feet freeze
as I trod through the snow
But there's booze in the blender
And soon it will render
That frozen concoction that helps me hang on

After 2 dry days, we're back to the rain for the next several days.

We've had a tornado warning for the last few hours. It looks like we're in the clear now. It is windy with a lot of rain, though.

I know we'll be beggin' for rain later on, but this HAS to stop! We've had countless inches of rain throughout winter and now into Spring. We got over 6" this past Saturday night and the forecast for tomorrow doesn't look good...

We started getting excess rain last summer, continuing through the fall and winter. It has tapered off some now, but the lawns are saturated, and rain puddles up quickly. We had to cancel open house at the Rabbit Sanctuary this year. People park on the grounds, and they are swamp-like. A couple of volunteers have gotten theirs cars stuck.

No tornadoes yet, at least not at Dino's, but it's been raining steadily since 1:30.

I found out yesterday that we actually got 8" of rain this past Saturday night. Add 3.25" from yesterday's storm, and that's 11.25" in less than a week. There are trees down all over the freakin' place.

It's been a dark, rainy day today, just like they said. Only a little bit of thunder and lightning here, but some nearby counties have gotten a lot of rain and wind, which has brought a lot of trees down.

I saw there are overturned cars in Mississippi from the storms.

We are sitting on the porch watching the rain now.

We had another storm and some heavy rain a little while ago, but the sun has come out now and hopefully the storms are over. I think the coast is where the bad storms are hitting now.
