Our forecast today is for strong storms with high winds, possible large hail and possible tornados. I'm already feeling nervous about it.

The weather is bizarre here. One day 50 degrees, today 85!

Our weather has been hotter than normal (if there is such a thing as normal any more) and our house has been heating up. We don't want to turn on the a/c yet, but it's getting uncomfortable in the afternoons.

I got nothing. Spring in the country doesn't suck.

You shouldn't need a/c in April, but we were feeling pretty hot and miserable and gave in.

We're having crazy weather. The previous 2 days it was hot and we needed the a/c. Today it is 35 degrees cooler and raining off and on. I had to wear a jacket when I went out buying flowers just now, and everyone had on jackets and coats.

We're still having up and down temperatures. We had the a/c on a few days ago, but today I had to get my long sleeved shirts back out and we had to turn on the heat, which came on immediately since the house was chilly. It's going to be in the 40's tonight.

We had a hard frost last night. The asparagus was just starting to recover from the last frost, and now it's gone again. A lot of local fruit farmers probably lost most of their crops. Mother Nature can be very unkind.

I'm sorry for the farmers and people in your area, CatLover. We're still waiting to see how much the peach crop was damaged by a late freeze.

Actually, I've decided that fruit farmers must be true gamblers at heart. There are just SO many ways they can lose their crops. It's much riskier than other types of farming. I remember the time it hailed in July, just when we were picking tart cherries (our main cash crop). It was one of the few times I remember my father using bad language.

That is a very risky profession.

It got hot here again, so the a/c is back on. I doubt that we'll be using the heat any more, although we had it on 2 days ago.

We've been on the roller coaster here too. With a lot of rain. So many days I wish I could get into my nice new bathtub and just soak soak soak.

It's been dark and cloudy all day here and we're supposed to get rain, but nothing so far. At least it cooled off and we were able to turn off the a/c and open the windows.
