We have old drafty windows that should be replaced. I've never heard of Mortite. It sounds very useful.

It does seem to work as advertised. Cold air staying out and the stuff picks right up without sticking.

No whining here. Last weekend was frigid and icy. This weekend feels like spring. I think it's around 70 degrees here. We have some windows open.

Freezing rain all week here. It took me longer to walk to my car last evening then it did to drive home as the sidewalks and parking lots at work were a mess. Have to watch for black ice this a.m. Better get my fat ass in gear and tackle this day!

Sorry for your icy conditions, droopy. It's been nice here, warmer than normal. But it's supposed to start raining today and rain for the next few days.

Be careful of that black ice. I was out walking a few years ago after we had gotten some snow a few days earlier and the road looked perfectly fine, but I evidently stepped on some black ice. I suddenly had no footing and down I went.

Above average here too, but it's very soggy. We're having a break in the rain right now, but it's supposed to start up again tonight.

We had a bad storm to move through here about 7:00. It had been raining and thundering and lightning, then we heard a noise, like a big wind coming. It suddenly started hailing really hard. We could tell that the hail was large. It sounded like thousands of big rocks pelting the house. Then the power flicked off a couple of times. Luckily it came back on. A few minutes later we started hearing sirens. I don't know if there were wrecks or lightning strikes or what. I hope that the hail didn't damage our house or car. I had never heard hail that loud before.

I don't think the hail damaged anything else, although I only saw this damage from the room and haven't gone outside to look, but it did tear up a screen in the storm window in our spare bedroom. It's riddled with holes and it has come away from the frame in one place. I'm afraid small birds or butterflies may get trapped in it. The windows are old, so it's doubtful that there are replacements out there for the screen. I've seen screen patch kits in catalogs, maybe Home Depot has some.

In the area, there were trees down and power lines down and some people are still without power, so I'm glad that none of that happened at my house.

Lightning bugs in February, blooming azaleas in March. Temps have been warmer this winter.

We've have flowers blooming for weeks here. I hope that there won't be a hard freeze that will damage the peach crop.

We're supposed to get a little snow tonight or tomorrow morning. We've been having temps in the 70's and now this.
