Ols not secure in chrome
Now that Chrome indicates that any website that doesn't start with the s on it to indicate it's secure, Online Sweepstakes comes up as not secure.

Think about it this way: Things that are General, such as sweeps that are open to everyone, are not secure. Sweeps for those who are "paid premium" are secure, as only those members can see them.
The general discussion, which is on the Sweepstakes Directory page is not secure. The premum discussion page is secure. I appologize for forgetting to quote mcclaave

everything is coming up "Not secure" for me.

My dog's name is Mr. Hot Shot. He likes to ride in the car and loves getting his ears scratched and belly rubbed.

Not Secure
Why am I getting "Not Secure" on the address line here at OLS all of a sudden. This is not good. OLS is not secure and our info is vulnerable.

It isn't all of a sudden--- it is just that you just noticed it. It has been over a year since I noticed it. Chrome not secure. Firefox too but I use an older version of Firefox so that may be secure for others.

Last year, Google began the process of identifying websites that were not using https on all pages on their website. Before this time, most sites only used https on their sales checkout pages.

In order to meet Google standards (and other search engine and browser providers), all sites had to move their websites to using https on all pages throughout their website by October of 2017 or risk being identified to the public as an insecure site. Https means that each page is is secure and encrypted.

This site has not met that standard, thus Google and other search engine and browser providers identify this site as not being a completely secure site. This is a programming and maintenance issue with this site and should have been addressed a long time ago.

Hope that helps.

Thank you it does help. It is as I suspected. That is not a real complicated fix and I would question why it has not been done. May also speak to why so many are having renewal issues and what impact this has on sharing Paypal info.
