Convention registration information (contains info on cancellation policy): http://17thsweepsconvention.com/june...ation_info.htm

As of today, they have received 400 registrations. The maximum registrations for this year will be capped at 800.

Although the convention website states that "a two nights' deposit is required at the time reservation is made," I do not believe that an actual deposit has to be immediately paid if you reserve with a credit card. There appears to be some discrepancy between what the website says versus what the hotel will say in regards to the room deposit and the cancellation policy. If this concerns you, I suggest that you ask about these details when you make your room reservations.

We're sorry, but no rooms are available for your specified date range. Please modify your search criteria and try again.

Me and my DH just called and reserved a room for the convention.

There appears to be rooms available.

We look forward to meeting some fine people!

You can plan on it, but don't make any promises you can't keep!

Question Any Room Block Available?
I checked online, and it doesn't look like any of the $115 room block is still available.

I don't want to call until I actually have the money for the deposit available.

Anyone tried lately for the $115 rate?

According to the convention site it does not look to be full. I would try calling. I made my reservations in early June and held the rooms with my credit card, no charges have been made

Only 283 days left to the start of convention and only 275 spots remain available!!
