Firefox Help
I accidentally clicked on something (I don't even know what, LOL!) and now when I open a new window in Firefox, I get something I don't want. How can I return to my previous setting in which a new tab showed the websites that I regularly visit? I hope that makes sense!
Thanks in advance,
Louise

PS: Thanks to everyone who offered help. Urlik finally explained it (simply as I require, lol), and I fixed it. OLS peeps are the BEST!!

Could just rollback or reinstall things...but that is a generic answer. May be a lot easier just to change your setting back...but we would need more info about the change that happened. Sorry, not really understanding the issue.

Implode, I know I didn't give a lot of info to go on. I was entering a sweepstakes and thought I was clicking on an entry link, but clicked on something else instead (hence the problem: I don't remember what that link was).

Is there a way to undo changes in Firefox? I'm not very computer-savvy, so maybe the solution is right there, but I can't see it!

Thanks for the help, Implode...OLS peeps are the best!

I think you mean setting it back to top sites. You'll see that under #1 here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb...ontent-new-tab

The cog you need to click only shows up in a brand new tab.

I wasn't seeing how to do it either after I posted it which was why I edited my answer to explain how to see the cog to click. You see it only when you click the plus to open a new tab.

You should see a toothed wheel in the upper right corner of the new tab below the menu bars.

Here's a picture showing it: https://cdn.ghacks.net/wp-content/up...fox-57-3-1.png It's the third icon down in the upper right corner.

BTW, you never said what version of Firefox so I am assuming it's the newest version. I'm heading out to catch a flight so I won't be able to chime in anymore to help. Good luck.

That's what I was looking for, but there is nothing underneath the menu bars.

If no cog is there than it looks like you need to refresh Friefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1185222
