I did plant some flowers today, but fortunately for everyone, I was not naked.

Diet or not, beverage intake is essential.

I see that you are in compliance with the holiday.

I am barefoot now, since I just got out of the shower a little while ago, but I will be putting on socks later when I go out. Maybe I can find something else to celebrate.

I do like Coke, but I don't think I would like to drink from a can that's been between feet, even my own.

I like these crazy pictures that you post!

Lost Sock Memorial Day has meaning for me. For a few months, I have been searching for 2 different socks - one blue and one beige, that disappeared.

I buy socks in bulk and only need to choose between white, black or gray. When one disappears (it can take years to find a lost one) I only need to pair the odd one with another which lost its partner. A sock that has been single for too long can be repurposed as a dust rag, chalkboard eraser, etc.
I don't wear socks much now that the weather's warm.

I have socks of all different colors and some with patterns, so when one somehow gets lost, I can't use the mate for wearing. In warmer weather, I go barefoot around the house or wear flip flops out in the yard, but if I go out in public, I'll put on athletic shoes with socks. Flip flops aren't the best shoe for walking any distance, and they're so cheaply made, I'm afraid they might come apart if I'm wearing them out in public.

I generally would rather go barefoot than wear flip flops but did successfully trek to the top of Mount Victoria (Tomanivi) with them. I've since realized that a pair of quality sandals can be worth the price.
