Ironically, key lime pie, which evokes imagery of sunny Florida, is easily found in our frozen foods section..

Ironic or not, it's good that it's available.

I've never had Cherries Jubilee, but I'm sure I'd like it.

IMO cherry vanilla ice cream is close enough (a little Irish Cream also helps).

Watch for the bluebird of happiness to howl at the moon tonight.

It's been very cloudy with off and on rain today, so I'm not sure that the moon is visible. I didn't realize that birds could howl.

I haven't read a comic book in ages, but I used to love to read them when I was a kid. I even would read one at the dinner table, which I'm surprised my mother let me do. My grandmother in NC owned a drug store in the small town where she lived. Whenever I would visit her, I would walk up to the drug store and bring back a load of comic books to read at her house.

I remember when I could buy a comic book for a nickel. Have you ever wondered what your comics might be worth today (if they weren't thrown away)? It is what dreams are made of....

I still have some of my comics, but they are mostly worn and likely worth nothing. Plus, they are stored in our dirt basement, which isn't a good atmosphere for them. When I brought them home after cleaning out my mother's house, that's the only place I had to put them. My nephew took a lot of them, but I don't know what he did with them.

I will recycle a can today, but I likely won't crush it first.

I expect to see at least a six-pack get crushed today.

I have one good neighbor that I'm grateful to know. The others, I don't know so well.

I did not crush all my cans yesterday. Today is a good time to meet with the neighbors and ask "What should we do now?"
