Question Deleting Pictures from USB Flash Drive
I have about 400 vacation photos on a USB flash drive. I would like to delete many but not all of these pictures. But I only know how to highlight and delete one at a time. Is there some way to highlight and delete several at a time?

I can click on one photo, hold the shift key, then click on the last photo in the group I want to delete and that highlights all of those then delete them... then I skip over the one or so I wanted to save and repeat the process.

Works the same as saved on a computer......
To delete individually, left click on the first one to delete, then - hold the CTRL button as you left click on each subsequent one individually. This will highlight each one to delete. When you have gone thru the whole file, right click and choose delete.

1. Open the folder on the USB drive
2. Hold CTRL and press A, then release both. This will select (highlight) everything in the folder
3. Hold CTRL and use the left mouse button to de-select those pictures you do not wish to delete
4. If needed, you can use the mouse to move the scroll bar
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have de-selected all pictures you wish to keep. All pictures you wish to delete should remain selected (highlighted)
6. You are now ready to delete - you can right click on any of the selected (highlighted) files and choose delete
7. If you think that did not go as planned, hold CTRL and press Z to undo the last action

Good luck.

Within my USB file, Ctrl, shift, and CRTL-A will all only highlight one photo at a time.

Click on one picture your want to delete or move, then hold down the 'control" key and highlight more.
