Very exciting to hear you all are planning on coming! Just a few notes, if you ever have any questions - please check the site directly www.17thSweepsConvention.com. We have links to just about everything needed to plan your stay! Everything from transportation discounts, shuttle service, car rental info, link to the Fairmont, link to the AZ Visitors Bureau, and ofcourse contests!!!

As for the King beds, they do have double beds available, this was an error that was taken care of. Also, the online code to book you room is GRNAT1 and should be working fine now. As for internet service, we are contracted for free service during the convention.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Booked my Room
Just booked my room yesterday. Got 2 double beds reserved, at least it better be for 2 double beds, cause it's my son coming with me!!! He is looking forward to meeting the OLS staff. I told him what a great bunch you were. ha. He's 24. So the big thing will be who gets to meet Stephen King next year....

Can't wait...............

Hang in there. Someone will come forward to bunk with you and at the end people will be begging to find a room to share. Some people just can't make a commitment this far in advance.

I'm very excited. This will be my first convention. I've made my reservations for the convention but not for the hotel yet.

I forget how many they were going to stop the registration at, but I would highly encourage anyone who has any intention of going to sign up as soon as possible. I do believe also that this one may be sold out shortly. They are definately worth the time and money. Your only cost at this point is the registration. They are also I believe taking a small deposit on the rooms. Then you have a few months before you have to pay for the planefare. And then the balance of the room is paid at convention. So get that change jar going!!
