Why IE doesn't work..sometimes
On some websites, I wondered why my IE doesn't work and have to use FF.
I ran across the explanation .. FWIW .. from a tech website:

"Thanks to hardened European internet privacy regulations, most U.S. content providers have increased the width of their cryptography key from 128 to 256 characters wide.- beyond the capacity of older browsers and operating systems. Puppy Linux browsing with SeaMonkey(Mozilla) was among the first to go under, lacking updated.

Try migrating to more recent devices or upgrading or loading another browser. Now that I've borrowed a laptop while a friend is on vacation, I'm able to successfully access all the radio and deal websites by utilizing the latest Chrome under Windows 7."

A-ha .. now I know, if that is true.
