YW, it seems appropriate for today.

That was appropriate for today!

It seems like most days could be called Absurdity Day.

I wasn't sure what smiley might best illustrate this day, but I did find a hamburger wagging its tongue.

Maybe that burger had too many hot peppers!

The burger does seem to be in some kind of distress.

Some peanut butter fudge could help. I usually like to follow extra spicy foods with something sweet.

It would definitely help. I checked out the first recipe listed - Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge. I does sound easy and it got good reviews too. Although reviewers on All Recipes frequently change the quantities of ingredients or the ingredients themselves, instead of sticking to the original recipe, when they post their reviews.

I will confess that I'm a tv junkie. I'm home alone a lot, so that's a good form of entertainment for me.

I haven't seen anything on tv about Alascattalo Day.

That's sure a strange beast! I don't think they have any of those in South Carolina.

I do like cashews! And it's nice that they have health benefits. I did once buy a can of chocolate covered cashews, which probably wasn't so healthy, but they were very tasty.

Halves and pieces are less pricey, although not as fancy they still make for good snacking.

That's true. The pieces taste just as good as the whole ones. At least they're not as expensive as pecans. Luckily, I found a bag of pecan pieces on sale for half price at Publix yesterday. I need them for the topping on the sweet potato casserole. I'm really glad that I didn't have to pay full price for those.
