I'm sure those are tasty, but they're also hard on your teeth/fillings.

I hope take-out from our market's frozen food section is okay because the Chinese restaurant is closed on Sunday.

I don't think the restaurant we go to ever closes. It's not the greatest Chinese restaurant I've been too, but it's close to our house.

In other news, I just realized that Coke codes still have value. I thought that they had discontinued that program, and they did announce a date all codes had to be redeemed by, which was a while ago, but I just saw a thread in the Freebie section, saying you could get a $5 Amazon gc with 10 codes. So, I guess they will have promotions from time to time that you need codes for. I still had a few caps left. I actually was cleaning out drawers a few weeks ago and was going to throw them in the trash, but I put them back for some reason. That was a good thing!

Thanks, awssm. But if you can manage to gather 10 codes before December 31, you can redeem them for the gift card yourself. Every once in a while, I'll see a Coke or Sprite bottle in a public trash can. In the past, when that program was still going on, I would have gotten the bottle or the cap, but I thought that was all over and done with when they announced the rewards from codes was ending earlier this year.

I don't drink much Coke, nor other soda pops for that matter, and I do not have an Amazon account, so you can have any codes that I do find.

Now, it's time for lunch.

I don't drink soda any longer, so was always grateful for any codes that I found or that people posted. I'm not a big shopper, but I do have an Amazon account, and occasionally buy items there - especially when I've won or somehow gotten gift cards. I guess I assumed a lot of others, including you, shop there too.

You don't have to go pawing through any recycling bins, like I used to before we were issued the new, large, lidded ones , but if you happen to drink a soda from the Coke family and have a code, I would certainly appreciate it.

I just felt like having a PB&J sandwich for lunch, but those nachos look good. I hope you enjoyed whatever you had!

Guess what? When I went on a walk this afternoon, I found a Coke Zero bottle with a cap! There is one road I walk on that seems to be a haven for litterbugs, since there are wooded areas with no houses.

Thanks, and it was clever that you found a saxophone video for today!

I've only ever tried a plain fig, but I don't really care for them, so I guess I'll have to find something else to celebrate today.

I certainly like chocolate and almonds too, but I prefer the chocolate to be a little more sweet than bittersweet.

You've never had a fig newton? They make great snacks. I also like dried figs.
