my wrong guesses:
opening up a glass jar that has never been opened before, taking something out and dropping it on a coffeeplate ,then closing the lid of the jar again and placing the jar on the table.

I dont hear a woman talking,(someone said in the other thread)/ I dont hear any talking.....

I heard the talking in the background, it's at the end.

Wrong guesses:

Putting a clove of garlic in a garlic crusher, crushing it then opening the crusher and the bit the clove sits in falls out.

Capping a beer bottle with a bottle capper.

this sound is disturbing and annoying. I hear many weird sounds in it.

And like the rest it sounds so familiar. The metal bit in particular, but I can't quite place it.

This guess, for May 10th, was wrong. It' the sound of a penny bank lid being popped off and dropping a single coin from the penny bank into a cup. My girlfriend laughed at me and told me, "who drops a penny into a cup". So, I dropped a penny into a glass cup and it sounded just like it, so I went with it. Good luck everyone!

I'm confused...on April 23, MSS message said "We've got a surprise coming soon".
So is the surprise because maybe this sound is made up of more than one thing or
because of all the background noise like they recorded the sound in a public place?

Wrong guess: cutting an apple on a cutting board, dropping an ice cube in an empty
glass and opening a soda can. My two other wrong guesses were also close to that.

This new one sure does have alot of possibilities! an nope, i didnt hear anyone talking either in sound. but I agree with the person said sounded like cutting an apple, but i was a little more morbid in my thinking hahaha ..it sounds like someone cutting their finger off an their wedding ring falls off in process (i know gross) So my yesterdays guess was, Removing gloves from your hand and in the process a ring falls off your finger onto a table , then placing the gloves down on table. (or along that line-dont have exact wording)
but it does have that slicing sound it it, like pushing a knife down into something so far it hits the counter top, who knows, i could guess a million guesses on this one.

i am so convinced it's opening up a lid of a jar because that chopsound sounds exactly the same as when you open up an airsealed jar. but then the sound of the coin? dropping is puzzling me

Maybe this is like 4 or 5 sound put together? is that one sound the chalk sound? or coin?

sounds like a coin to me..this ones confusing.

My last 2 guesses have not appeared on my account at the site. Has anybody else experience this?
