Thermal drapes
I want to put up drapes for two sliding patio doors.. one has air leaking through.. the other isn't too bad.. can't afford to replace. Hoping to cut some of the cold with drapes.

Looking at them on-line. I see a set I like but then read someone's comment saying they aren't thermal like the description says.. company replied stating they are.

I don't want to have to pay $80 each set... and like the grommet style because of the lack of space on the sides of the doors.. seems easier to slide over.

We really don't have places to look at drapes around here.. we have our local Walmart. Not sure what the stores in the "big city" carry since they aren't like huge like you'd find in large cities.

Anyone have luck with some inexpensive ones?

I have a problem with light heat and noise.

I spent 7.00 a panel and they work great.

I needed 4 panels for my patio door

they are room darkening noise reducing and keep out the heat and cold.

they work great !

here is the link

https://www.amazon.com/GorgeousHome-...ct_top?ie=UTF8

shipping is kinda high if you order 4 panels but if you place 4 different orders the shipping is free

they are foam backed and look like silk.

dont worry about the wrinkles after they hang for a while gravity takes them out

there is a slight smell because of the foam backing but that goes away.

lots of sizes too and they ship quickly.

some of the colors are wild, too wild for me lol

I got the dark brown.

I ordered more from the same company on ebay for my two bedrooms, but they are not the same.

I like the ones from amazon better.

I didn't want to say anything about colors in case it was one you picked... We have wood interior and I stick with earth tone colors or subdued.. I can't take the flashy.. which is why the LG oven I love is one I won't buy... they have a blue/purple interior that bothers my eyes.

you are so funny. I stick with the earth tone colors as well they are peaceful

I do like dark blue thought.

I have a wood interior too, Just put up a wood plank wall in the living room and in the bedroom

They came out gorgeous then I needed new curtains hence the purchase.

I live in a condo where the curtains must be white. That is why I bought the ones with the white foam backing. My neighbors come in and look at the back to make sure they are white. They are looking to turn me in
