Today is also the Aztec New Year. After the scare with the Mayan Calendar a few years ago, I am glad to see that we still have reasons to celebrate (and I am keeping my 2013 Mayan Calendar in hopes that it will someday become a valuable collectible).

Did you ever think of trying the Boy Scouts?

I reluctantly sprang forward.

Today is:

Ear Muff Day http://www.holidayinsights.com/moreh...earmuffday.htm. You sure don't need those around here now with the warm weather we've been having.

Jewel Day http://www.holidayinsights.com/moreh...h/jewelday.htm. I don't care much about jewelry and hardly ever wear any, so I'll pass on this holiday too.

I've not had a potato chip pie but it seems interesting.

That actually sounds good to me! I love cheesy potato dishes.

Yep. Seems easy to make, too. I may need to try it next time I attend a gathering.

There were 3 comments about the recipe, but no one had made it yet. I was hoping to see some reviews.

I thought that I was wrong once but that was a mistake.

Anyway, I decided to do the potato chip pie today and I like it. The basic recipe was used for my first attempt but IMO it should be easy to add additional toppings and seasonings to taste- worth a try.

Are you sure you've never been wrong?

What seasoning blend did you use? It seems like garlic powder or onion power or chili powder or a combo, might be good to use.

Potato Chip Pie
The only thing I added was a sprinkling of onion powder but it would be very easy to adjust to your tastes by adding other seasonings, salsa or diced veggies, substituting other cheeses, etc.
