Last night we had dinner at a French restaurant:

DH and I shared a cheddar and ale fondue

Me: Lump crab cocktail with Dijon sauce
DH: Tuna and crab tartare tower

Me: Pan-seared, citrus-basted Atlantic salmon with grilled fennel and Vierge sauce
DH: Chicken Provençal with pomme puree, haricots vert

DH and I shared Poire belle Hélène

Me: Champagne and St. Germain cocktail, and then a glass of Champagne
DH: Smoked Manhattans

Our garden is feeding us well. Over the next few days we'll be eating a lot of Shishito peppers and eggplant (and also cucumbers, but not tonight).
This photo shows the batch we ate last night, I am making them again for dinner.

I had a large lunch, so eating mostly watermelon for dinner.
Thank you for your compliment on my pepper recipe. If you cant find the Shishito peppers, Padron peppers will work as well.
