Been a little crazy around here! Still having trouble with the internet.

No complaints though. 2nd day of mowing and I was able to get up this morning after mowing and working out in the heat all day long yesterday. I went to sleep with 2 heating pads.

Finally feeling better and no more to the bone fatigue from the strep throat I caught. Thanks, Z-Pac!

It's too hot again today, but it will be getting cooler in the days to come. Thinking about all the storm-ravaged lives in Texas and feeling grateful.

My refrigerator died yesterday. My young cousin went to trade school for heating/air condition and refrigeration and was able to "revive" it. There is no telling how long it will last but I'm so happy it's working now. We can't afford to buy another one right now. Keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts for a while.

Check on Craigslist in your area sometimes they give away free working refrigerators and freezers. They have a whole section "FREE" also there is freecycle just sign up for a group in your area and post that you need one.

I'm glad your cousin got it working for now. When my freezer went out I lost all my stuff I put up from the garden. That was no fun at all. One of my Aunt's is moving in with her daughter and didn't need her freezer anymore so she gave it to me. Things will work out just keep the faith!

Thanks I will look into that. We do have a fridge in the garage that I was able to put stuff into. But the meat was too thawed and gross in the freezer and I threw it out. I'm keeping the faith!

I have been waiting for AMOE codes for which I sent postcards 2 weeks ago.
They emailed them to me today. I'm so happy. Actually, I'm more happy about getting those codes than I am about winning a prize, worth $200 from an instant, this morning.

I bought a house that didn't have a stove and I spent months without one - eating only food that didn't need to be cooked. I finally posted on FB that I was looking for a stove and 5 minutes later a friend said she just got off the phone with her MIL who told her she was buying all new appliances and did she know of anyone that wanted a free stove, fridge or dishwasher. Miracles happen!

Wow that is great and good timing. So far my fridge and freezer is working. It's even making ice cubes again. Thank goodness for small blessings in life.
