I've never heard that song before.

Mac and cheese day was a nother easy obsevance. It is served at many buffets but, unfortunately, there is usually a dress code.

A sundae would really hit the spot today! One would have also been good yesterday when I was so hot due to our power being out.

A sundae might help get things back to normal. I have some strawberry sundae cups in the freezer (I hope you were able to keep your food cold during the outage) but am in the mood for something a little more special so will likely visit an ice cream parlor later. It has been some time since I've had a banana split but that would be more calories than I need right now. I came across this while looking for something different but certainly wouldn't consider that normal! What to do?

I say go for the banana split. It may ward off a potassium deficiency.

Is it okay to have peach ice cream for breakfast? It is a fruit, after all.

Good for you if you had peach ice cream! I could not find it anywhere but I was able to improvise with some vanilla ice cream and a can of peaches (I topped it with some rice krispies for extra vitamins and minerals).

I haven't had any yet, but the day isn't over.

One reason that I bought a Ninja food prep machine that was on sale a couple of years ago was because you could make your own ice cream. It's a smaller model, 40 oz. capacity, and it wasn't expensive. For peach ice cream, you cut up the fruit and freeze it, then mix it with milk, lime juice and sugar. I've only made it twice, but it was good and very quick. You have to wait for the fruit to freeze of course, but the ice cream itself is blended and ready in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, we've eaten all the fresh local peaches we had gotten at a farmer's market, and I know the grocery store peaches aren't very good.

I may have to have a belated peach ice cream day, when I can get some more peaches. I've never bought peach ice cream at the store, so I don't know how available it is. When I get ice cream, I usually get vanilla or something with chocolate in it.

True, the day isn't over so you still have time to find your favorite new emojis for World Emoji Day.

🐇

I went looking for emojis and found a site where I could copy and paste, but it is so tiny. There were some larger animal images that I liked, but they didn't have the copy and paste feature.

I like sour candy, but I usually stay away from hard candy since I'm afraid I might crack a filling if I crunch down on it.
