Only 300 produced. IDK how many survive.

300 is a very low number. It doesn't seem like there would be many still around.

According to this article "225 remain in existence today". A recent list price was $533,500.00!

I thought it would be a valuable car, but had no idea it was that valuable!

I'm not much of a shutterbug but hugs are always nice, or even a handshake.

Speaking of insurance, I am rather sure that the premiums for that car would be beyond my budget.

I wonder if most of the people who have that Corvette actually drive it, or do they just keep it at home to protect it and admire it? A car is meant to be driven, but I bet that some people would rather not risk it or would only take it out very occasionally.

I agree that a car should be driven to be enjoyed but there is something to be said for keeping it in pristine condition: it cost about $3500 when new and the value has increased considerably.
Every vehicle that I'd owned decreased in value until I finally traded it.

It seems like every time we have some celestial event, it is cloudy or raining here. We have a 100% chance of rain today.

Meteors always remind me of Elvis' Flaming Star.

I hope you have good viewing of the 2017 eclipse that will be near you. I wanted to see it but could not get accommodations so will probably watch it on

The lady across the street from me has a sister in law who lives in Pennsylvania. She's coming down here to watch the eclipse. She'll be staying with my neighbor, so accommodations are no problem for her.
