In addition to Rob hitting everything on the nail as far as what to expect also be sure to take a look at all of the postings and pictures under the 2006 Northeast Convention. Then you'll not only see what went on but some of the folks you'd be seeing there. It's something you wouldn't want to miss, especially with being new. Lots to learn and can get really great tips from all in attendance. I waited 16 years before attending any organized activities and I am sorry that I did. Will never miss another if I can help it.

KB is correct! There are plenty of slots available! No need to rush into it, but I would definitely consider sending payment by mid-July.

You'll be receiving so much for $100 ...it is definitely worth it!

Was wondering if anyone knows how long things will be going on Sunday. I reserved Sunday night too but am thinking I'd rather drive home Sunday afternoon/evening and arrive a day early. Would hate to drive up Friday and be all tuckered out for Friday night.

If it is like last year we will be done by noon - plenty of time to head on home

Sunday should run until noon or so. We want to provide you with plenty of time to do some shopping at the Outlets in Hershey. They are planning on putting together packets for our attendees.

Give yourself plenty of time on Friday! It looks like we'll be planning a karaoke event for Friday night.

As we get closer to the convention, a schedule will be posted on the website.

Wink
I would love to go, but don't want to drive, esp alone. Does anyone from upstate NY want to go and share a room? I don't smoke but drink on special occasions (haha) and would share travel expenses. Does anyone know if the room rates of $103 are per person or for a room for 2 people? PM me if anyone is interested. (Oh I am female, 48, divorced, friendly, easy to get along with, etc.)
