I put a freeze on all 3 of my credit reports and locked the PIN numbers in the safe. Hopefully it's not too late.

Free Fraud Alerts
You can put a fraud alert on your credit reports for free. Freezing them costs $ at each bureau. Contacting one of the credit bureaus will cover all 3 for fraud alerts. I listed the 3 using the website addresses provided at https://www.annualcreditreport.com/ where you can request your free credit reports:

Equifax - www.equifax.com/CreditReportAssistance
Experian - www.experian.com/fraud
TransUnion - www.transunion.com/fraud

The first credit freeze is free in some states, I didn't pay anything.

The credit freeze is free in my state (SC) if you can prove that you are a victim of identity theft. I froze all of mine with all three credit bureaus. I had a police report back when I froze mine about 10 years ago. However, it doesn't seem to do very much good as I was hit in this mess as well. So I don't know if I could recommend freezing your credit to help anything.

Every single person that I have talked to today has been in the clear, except for me.

I did a credit freeze then within a month I needed the report and had no info handy with me to unfreeze it!

In the agreement, enrolling means you agree not to sue. Today I see they have dropped that due to the outrage...

We are affected too.

At the very least they should give not only lifetime credit monitoring, but also full service to take care of any identity theft.

Is anyone enrolling even if it's coming up as not impacted?

I enrolled because I was .. but hubby came up as not.

I think I still have monitoring from the post office leak years back.. I still get notices of sleezeballs moving into the neighborhood from them.
