Things I collect or Adore: I'm starting to collect Costume Jewelry to make art projects with. I collect Angels - but not cherubs. I like the "folksie Angels" . We also collect Buddhas - the young, thin Buddha with the hair and long ears. We also like Ganesh.


Other things about Me: I crochet scarves and blankets for the homeless and cancer patients... yarn donations are always appreciated! My husband and I try to lead a life of service to others and we encourage everyone we know to try to "Pay it Forward" whenever possible.

Other things about Me: I am an avid photographer. We devour books in our household, I'm convinced that some day the house is going to implode from the weight of the books. I'm a huge baseball fan. I am also a huge SciFi fan, I go to a few SciFi conventions every year. I love to travel, and wish I could do more of it. I have an i-pod and Kindle (I love my electronic toys, LOL!) . I love to garden. I enjoy doing counted cross-stitch when I have the time. (which isn't often enough!) Life is Good!

1. Homemade Gifts - I am overly sentimental and just adore things that are homemade, so if you are crafty, or bake, or take photos, or make mix Cd's, or write, or make jewelry or...whatever, I'd be touched to have the gift of your time. I also do not have young children of my own, so if you have kids who like to draw or make crafts, I would love that!

2. Christmas - Anything and everything that celebrates both the spiritual and secular components of Christmas. I love snowflakes and pictures of red Cardinals in the snow!

3. Other Cultures - I am very open minded and would love it if y'all want to share something from your faith or culture. I work at a University and like to have things in my office that celebrate various cultural traditions.

4. Used Audio Books - I commute 90 minutes each way to work and listen to books on CD to pass the time. Since I listen to these once and pass them on, I don't care if they are beat up. If you are out yard saleing or thrift storing and see them for 50 cents or so, I would love it if you sent me one!

5. The Philadelphia Soul Arena Football Team and Jon Bon Jovi!!! (I know the Soul is gone, but I still want to collect memories of this fun time.)

6. Squished Pennies from those machines at tourist attractions.

I am a 42-year-old Psychologist/College Professor, married to Rich (TripletA) and we are the proud parents of two naughty cats (Piper & Phoebe). We also have outdoor critters and our back yard is a certified wildlife habitat. I love to cook, garden, enter snailmail contests and read.

Favorite Scent: Lavendar is my ultimate fave, but also love vanilla, cinnamon and tons of Yankee Candle fall scents!

Favorite type Music: I don't really listen to a lot of music these days because my hearing disability makes it difficult to enjoy.

Favorite TV Show: No real faves right now, but do like some reality shows like American Idol, Hell's Kitchen and Project Runway.

1. I'm a freelance writer and photographer and a huge movie buff.
2. I love to do puzzles, especially pretty landscapes, cats, flowers, birds.
3. I really enjoy adult color books and have just about every shade imagineable in color pencils, markers and crayons. I'm trying to learn how to properly use watercolor pencils, but not qood at it yet *LOL*
4. I absolutely love gardening! I'm always looking for cool flower seed packages to try and I have a small herb garden.
5. I'm an avid reader and Jodi Picoult is my favorite author. I also like Nevada Barr books because she writes about interactions between humans and animals. Currently reading her book "Winter Study."
6. One day I'd like to walk a piece of the Appalachian Trail -- even just a tiny part of it. I love nature and I've been fascinated by the AT for a long time.
7. I love camping, especially in the mountains, which seems to be where my heart is although I'm stuck in Florida!
