Question Guinness
From the sweep that ended 1-1-09 called: Guinness - Backyard Pub Sweepstakes

I got an email with an affidavit saying that I won $100 to the Guinness webstore. I had a form to fill out and get notorized and I am suppose to send a copy of my drivers license. I have never had to email or fax my driver's licesnse before and it smells fishy... Anyone else get this? If anyone has ever had this experience before please let me know if it was a scam. I am baffled and not sure what to do.

Thanks and Good Luck!

I got this one in the mail yesterday- a letter with a check made out to me for 4 million dollars that I supposely won. It was mine as soon as I sent the sender $24.95 for processing fees!! The mail to address was a po box in Las Vegas NV. I would even have to put my own postage on the letter- even though I was a Millionare! HA! I wonder if people fall for something so stupid-?

Scams
If you have been sweeping for a while, don't be surprised to receive these solicitations. NEVER, I mean NEVER respond to them. Take it from an inattentive victim.

Seems legit to me. They were giving that prize away and as long as you entered it, I'd say you're a winner!
Faxing ID is a semi-common request. A sweep involving an Alchohol related sweep seems that they want to verify your age. I know I read before that other have just blackened out their license #,
If you want more feed back from others that may have won, Post in the Premium winner's circle with your question.

Good Luck!!
