Eglin AF Pilot Dies in crash today
We lost 2 F-15 planes at a cost of 30 million each and more costly than that was one of our country's military pilot's died after being rescued in the Gulf of Mexico after the crash. They are always doing massive air missle training here. Planes everywhere..........this is sad. My prayers go out to both families and friends of these pilots.

My husband flies (not jets but an EC-130) and I can not tell you how nerve-racking it is to know your husband is up there....Right now as I speak he's flying over Iraq :( My heart goes out to all the families involved

No they should have, they are more than 30 years old ---some of them

Eglin is supposed to be getting new ospreys(sp) within the next couple of years though.
