I'm pondering that I'm glad I followed my hunch and decided to get some scratch off lottery tickets from the machine at the grocery store. Spent $10 on 5 tickets and won $60!!

There is a worm or maggot climbing up my computer screen right now.

I'm pondering the fact that my brother seems to think he and his wife are the only people with responsibilities. Always so busy and always a reason why they don't have time for things like being together for Easter. Guess what, I am busy too and so are my friends and yet they are hosting meals tomorrow. Thank God for my friends who have included me in their plans or I'd be alone this Easter like I was last year (but last year I was sick anyway, so it didn't matter).

Amen for friends!
That is why the saying "you can choose your friends, but you are stuck with your family" is so true, and yes I do know I paraphrased a little!

Since my dad passed I have learned to make my friends my family. It's a shame though, my brother and I are all that's left of our family.
