I've won either $5 or $10 from them a few years ago on one of the IWGs

$25 cash, $10 Amazon cards (twice), $250 cash.

Still waiting for the van to show up in my yard, though!

Angry PCH Bah!
I stopped entering when I read in their rules that each entry offer has a unique number, and if that entry opportunity is sent in and that number is drawn, then that entry would get the big prize. Otherwise, the big prize would not be given out. Then I looked at how many extra emails with entry offers I got (only 1 a day is allowed), and how much junk mail they sent out, and realized that every entry opportunity from a banner ad had a unique entry number and I realized that the chance that anyone would actually send in the winning number was close to nil. Then I bought a Megamillions ticket, figuring I had better odds.

I've won $10 a handful of times. Maybe $50 total?

It's nice and all but it's all about the PCH superprize.

Some people do win it. I'm not sure about the numbers but it feels like every few months someone gets the REAL big prize, maybe every other offer or like twice a year. Maybe it's less than that, but I know a few big winners that I can remember.

I think the positive part about the big prize not being given out is that even when no one wins it, the consolation prize that IS awarded is an annuity (I think) for $1 Million. It feels like they do drawings 4-5 times a year, so it's not terrible even if its mostly only $1Million prizes.

That's still one of the biggest sweeps awards - just below some of the BHG Dream Home etc ones. I think the odds of winning it are much lower, considering how many people know about PCH and how much effort it is to get the max entries a day, but I still do the low effort entries when I have time.

Won small denomination Amazon from them before...problem with having someone step forward about a larger prize--is they would have to publicly admit to winning in. Who wants that scrutiny...

Um, if it was one of the $1 Million (or even better, one of the Million for life or 5K a week for life prizes) I would be happy to. Not as happy as doing it anonymously, but the money would make worry about retirement or my kids going to college not nearly as big of a deal.

The 10K and other awarded prizes would be a bit more embarrassing to be on TV for, but hey, that buys a lot of dog food and pays a lot of bills. I can smile for the camera for that.

I have a hard time admitting to winning $1,000 or a vacation anymore...

I've had nut cases get jealous before. Called the judging agency claiming my entry was invalid. Then it was on me to prove I had entered legitimately. Huge hassle, you live and learn. Missed out on a trip to universal studios, movie premier, and a 1 in 8 shot at a car. All because someone alleged I wasn't a college student during when I entered a college related sweep. Even though I submitted my college ID and a copy of a paid receipt. It could happen to anybody. Absolutely don't reveal wins before you have collected them. Or in the case I ever win a million dollars or large sum of cash, EVER.

BEWARE of jealous stalker behavior.
