Saw this on their fb page:
"I saw on the HGTV website that the winner will be notified by email, phone call or ambush surprise visit any day from 2/28 through 3/5."

Be ready!

I have 38 entries and a lot of faith! I seriously wouldn't know what the heck to do, I'd probably get put in the hospital because the nerves in my back go freaking painfully crazy over a little bit of excitement.

ETA: (My 8 yr old son is bawling his eyes out because I just told his dad that I had 38 entries..etc. Wouldn't it be nice dreaming stuff. He doesn't want to move and he KNOWS we could win because we just won a trip...that he can't go on(I honestly have never spent more than one night at a time away from him and those have been extremely rare..less than a week). We had to reassure him that we aren't moving out of this crappy apartment any time soon, lol. )

Good Luck OLS members!

Next year I will send in at least one entry into the drawing. I want to keep my hopes up! I am glad that a online entry was picked. At least that's how I understand it. GLTA

Powerball and Megamillions are in the 180million to 1 range, the dream home was 77,000,000 to 1. So the dream home has better odds, AND it's free to enter.
that being said, i don't know why i waste my time on this every year when it's such a long shot AND it frequently freezes my computer.

now i have to get back to looking out my window for the prize van.

guess that people who near in or around Detroit area is left out, our city is not considered a beautiful city. I don't live in Detroit but I live about 10 miles from it.

Well, OK does have quite a few country singers/writers, but beautiful? Probably not talking about Oklahoma.

I asked my son if he thought that described Pueblo, CO and he said no sounds more like Boulder, CO and I think he's right. So probably some college town like New Haven or something like that.

I am thinking that also describes Santa Fe, NM ~ and places like Portsmouth, NH, Boston, honestly it could be anywhere, but sounds like a big city, or at least well known city or some small town in beautiful Montana, it could be anywhere!
