I calculate odds and statistics like this all the time.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are about 1 in 302,600,000.
With 600 tickets, the odds would be about 1 in 504,333.
With 5,000 tickets, the odds would be about 1 in 60,520.
With 25,000 tickets, the odds would be about 1 in 12,104.
With 100,000 tickets, the odds would be about 1 in 3,026.
With 250,000 tickets, the odds would be about 1 in 1,210.
With 500,000 tickets, the odds would be about 1 in 605.
With 1 million tickets, the odds would be about 1 in 303.
With 2 million tickets, the odds would be about 1 in 151.
With 3 million tickets, the odds would be about 1 in 101.

So no, buying 600 tickets would generally be a very poor investment, BUT, I wish you all the best of luck. I just wouldn't spend the $600 myself.
