I'm dealing with a seller from hell. I won $25 Secret Santa bucks (yah, great), so I went and did a buy it now sale for a DVD player that was $52.99.

The addy in the confirmation mail was wrong, so I emailed seller to notify him of the correct address. No answer. I mail him again. No answer. This goes on for a week, and I wind up sending him 12 emails, each progressively more pissed off, that he doesn't answer.

Finally the e-check clears, and I get an email from the seller that he will ship to the WRONG ADDRESS! I have a conniption(fit) and file a fraud claim with Paypal. He finally responds to that, and promises to make good and send the machine to the right address.

Today UPS came with a machine--the WRONG MACHINE! Can you believe this? I am letting the Paypal dispute claim continue, but he has proof now that he sent a machine. What a turd. (He also spelled the street name wrong.)

I have 383 positives and 100% (oh, you smart, Sweepyhead) and can't imagine such incompetence, but here it is.

Has anybody ever worked with the Paypal dispute process and received satisfaction? He's not answering my email again. He probably thinks everything's hunky-dory.

p.m. me if you want the auction url.

Yes, I have..persue it and don't miss any e-mails that are sent to you. Resolution does come. I had to theatened with Fraud, The BBB, and Square trade. It was cleaned and taken care of quickly. There are a lot of sellers that are shall we say lest than honest. Even if he or she gives you a bad review feedback you can rebutal it. Besides all the postive ones far out shine the one negitive one. I'm so sorry that this happened to you.

Yes, my DH and I purchased 2 violins that arrived falling apart and missing parts. We had taken out the Paypal extra insurance since this was a big $ purchase, and in the end we received a refund minus shipping. It was a lot of paperwork (plus you will need to print out and send all correspondence with the seller), but overall a smooth process, and we were happy with the outcome. GOOD LUCK!
