Any advice? I am babysitting my great nephew. So happy I have 4 days off work! Never in my life have I gotten even 1 day before a holiday, so I am thrilled!! Just not used to this age child, as I never had kids, due to babysitting so much when I was young.

Advice? Run, screaming, now. Get out while you can!! just kidding.
Find some quick projects that he would be interested in and would hold his attention.
My step-son was diagnosed with adhd (although we found out later that he was old enough at the time to know what to tell the shrinks so that he would have an 'excuse' to get away with what he did and get all the attention) and although he couldn't sit through a dinner without disruption everyone, he could sit for HOURS playing video games or drawing.

My 7yr old has ADHD and Mild Autism and Sensory Intergration Dysfunction. Anyways, video games, art projects and the computer all keep him occupied. He is also on Concerta.(Big Help) Find some Holiday things to do with him, bake cookies make crafts. Good Luck.

give him lots of attention and praise. Video games, maybe take him to a fast food restaurant for lunch, let him pick out a movie/dvd to watch. Hopefully you have nickelodeon!
Good luck and have fun!
My dh was an ADHD child and required (still does) lots of attention. Likes to be center of attention- not sure if that's the case for all ADHD kids.

Thanks so much! He loves Jurasic Park - We just watched that, and are about to make million dollar pies. He just took all of his medicine - I am hoping it kicks in soon!
