I cant wait till THIS Christmas is over!!
What is it with this year?? Money tight... money just not there!!! I dont know.... Seems a lot are down with Christmas this year....
Like my husband said (no offence to anyone intended) Why can't they just announce on the news that Santa got shot, and blame it on bin laden?? Then it would ease a little....

I really hope that your luck changes soon. I know how you feel right now. I am in the process of losing my car right now, and trying to think of ways to get my kids some presents. This is by far the worst year of Christmas for me!!!

I was talking to my sister about this last night. I am a really good shopper, penny pincher, and saver of money. So good that having a little source of income have never been a problem for me. But it has been somthing about this year.... BROKE that is the word.... I am doing the same as I always have done but it seems that a dollar just isn't going a far this year. Lets just hope that next year will be better

I hope things get better for you! I can SO relate! For our family, there just never seems to be enough money, and the pressure of it can be intense. I doubt DH and I will be able to afford to exchange gifts again this year, which doesn't bother me until Christmas morning, when it's kind of a depressing letdown. Every year, I promise myself that someday I want a vacation from Christmas...LOL...as if we could ever afford it! :)

I know I have much to be grateful for, others have it so much worse than our family does. And when I think back, there were worse years than this...like a few years ago when we had moved to the mountains to follow our dreams and had a harsh winter with about 8 feet of snow and our only car was a 62 chevy truck with no heater! Things are better now...we moved, and now get rain instead of snow. And we also own an almost new second car, though my hubby still drives that faithful chevy to work! :)

I am sorry so many of the members are having such a tough year. Thank you to our president. I think he has made some very bad choices that have made it tough for everyone in this country. I wish lots of wins and better jobs for those who need them. Christmas can seem like more work and worry about gifts than fun. Try to do your best with what you have and hope things get better soon. :worry:
