Wow, this is a quick, clever and free program. I like it.

For me (broadband connection) this was a *very* fast and painless download. Didn't have to close any other programs, and a desktop icon was installed on my desktop in less than one minute.
It provides a *very* complete inventory of all you installed hardware and software...including the Microsoft license numbers!! (which can be very handy). Then the desktop icon just stays there; each time you launch it, it takes a few seconds to inventory the current state, and open a browser window with the report. If you're trying to keep a neat desktop, just create a catch-all folder, and move all your infrequently accessed icons into it.
The website lists a buncha brand name companies who are licensee customers, which lends a degree of confidence, and firmly states that no info about your computer is uploaded anywhere...
