Numbness??

I was in a car wreck back in Feb and hurt my neck;ever since then when I get tired the 3 fingers on my right hand (not the thumb or index finger) get numb and tingly.
I'm waiting for my insurance to kick in at work so that I can afford to go to the DR and this is the only problem that I seem to be having.

Anyone else experience something simliar???

Ah, yes. It's been 3 1-/2 years since I was rear-ended and I still get numbness in my fingers and toes occasionally. If you haven't been to a doctor though, get to one as soon as you can. Just because you don't feel anything now, doesn't mean a problem can't be there lurking :frown5:

Oh, yeah. It was after a rafting accident. I had a neck injury that left the fingers on my right hand numb. It eventually went away. I'd advise going to see a doctor. Did you happen to mention this numbness at the time of the accident? Treatment should be covered under your insurance policy, but it might be a huge problem proving it was related now since so much time has passed.

sounds like a pinched nerve. I was rear-ended twice over the course of a couple of years about 10-12 years ago. I have also worked where i used to work on the computer and type with the phone in the crook of my neck. I started getting numbness in the same fingers becuz i was pinching my nerve in my neck. Did you ever go to the Dr. when you had the wreck? Did you settle? I would still go to the Dr. and then see about a claim becuz i have seen insurance companies pay on a lot of stranger things. BTW--sorry about the 'Boys yesterday. My hubby is still in a funk.
